Weekly Round-up: City win at Wembley, Bobb injury reaction and JSPT begins to heat up

Well, what a week that was. Manchester City added their first piece of silverware of the season (yes it's a real trophy now) with a win against that lot at Wembley, while starboy Oscar Bobb was ruled out until the new year.

And to think people call supporting City boring!

We kicked the week off with plenty of smiles on our faces after City did the business over United at Wembley.

Tuesday saw Amos back with two fresh faces, as Luke Bardsley and David Michael Powell made their return to the podcast chair this season.

They continued the debrief from Saturday's win, while revelling over City's options out on the wing.

Wednesday: John Stones Paint Trophy drama

Wednesday's show saw Adam Booker and Joe Butterfield share their opinion on City's standings heading into the new campaign.

While the John Stones' Paint Trophy reached the quarter-final stage.

Reigning champion Joe R returned for a repeat of last year's semi-final against Oliver K.

Thursday: Squad depth review and Oscar Bobb heartbreak

It was the news everybody wanted to believe wasn't true. After a stellar pre-season performance, Bobb would take no part in City's early-season openers after fracturing his leg.
